Referrals

Medical colleagues and other healthcare professionals can refer patients for neurological evaluation, with specific expertise in:

• Epilepsy; • Headache disorders and migraine; • Sleep disorders; • General neurological symptoms.

An EEG can be performed in the practice when indicated within the diagnostic work-up.

Clinical and academic expertise

Dr. Annelies Van Dycke is a neurologist and epileptologist. She is affiliated with the Reference Centre for Refractory Epilepsy at Ghent University Hospital and works as neurologist and Head of the Department of Neurology at AZ Sint-Jan Bruges.

She is also an academic consultant at Ghent University and lecturer in neurology at VIVES University College in Bruges. Her clinical and scientific interests include epilepsy, headache disorders (with focus on migraine) and sleep medicine.

Publications and lectures

Dr. Van Dycke is the author and co-author of several scientific publications and regularly speaks at national and international congresses and educational meetings.
